What is the NCE?
The National Counselor Exam, otherwise known as the NCE, is a standardized examination administered throughout the United States by the National Board of Certified Counselors(NBCC).
The purpose of this exam is to assess counseling graduates on the basic skills, knowledge, and abilities of a licensed counselor. Passing this exam is a salient part of the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in the United States.
